A delicious combination of savory bacon, sharp cheddar cheese, and sweet pear slices, grilled to perfection in a panini press or grill pan.
Ingredients:
- 4 slices bacon
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
- 8 slices sourdough bread
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
Instructions:
Over medium-low heat, cook the bacon in a skillet until it's crispy
Place the bacon on paper towels to drain
Warm up a grill pan or panini press
Put cheddar cheese, bacon, and pear slices between two slices of sourdough bread to make a sandwich
Put softened butter on the outside of each sandwich
It should take about 4 to 5 minutes per side for the bread to turn golden brown and the cheese to melt on a panini press or grill pan
Take it off the heat, cut it in half, and serve it hot
